Antique Cars
1969-2021
Antique Cars were added to Cedar Point in 1969. Antique Cars is a family ride in witch riders drive around a track that is located in the middle of Frontier Town.
In 1958 Cedar Point added Cadillac Cars! There were such a success that in 1959 Turnpike Cars were added to the park!

For the 1969 season, Cedar Point expanded Frontiertown. The expansion would include Cedar Creek Mine Ride and Antique Cars.

The Cadillac Cars turned out to be so successful that in 1969, Cedar Point decided to add a 3rd such ride called Antique Cars in its Frontiertown section of the park!

Theming
Antique Cars was built by Arrow Dynamics of Clearfield, Utah. Arrow Dynamics was a very innovating company. They would build some of the biggest riders at the time. Over the years they put several rides in at Cedar Point including: Cadillac Cars (1958), Turnpike Cars (1959-2014), Mill Race (1963-1993), Earthquake (1965-1984), Pirate Ride (1966-1996), Shoot-The-Rapids (1967), Antique Cars (1969), Cedar Creek Mine Ride (1969), Corkscrew (1976), Gemini (1978), White Water Landing (1982-2005), Iron Dragon (1987), Magnum XL-200, and Snake River Falls (1993). These rides have been some of Cedar Point's most popular rides over the years.
Ride Experience
The average wait time for Antique Cars was 5-10 minutes . The longest line for the ride was rarely over 20 minutes.

The Frontiertown expansion in 1969 was very popular for park guest. They loved the Wild West experience they were getting. Over the years Cedar Point built more attractions that would make the park the best amusement park in the world. The Antique Cars were replaced with The Farmhouse Kitchen and Grill for the 2022 season.
