Bayern Kurve
1970-1984
Bayern Kurve was located on the Million Dollar Midway between the Cedar Point Cinema and Schwabinhen.

After Cedar Point celebrated its 100th anniversary in 1970 they added: Frontier Trail (1971), Jumbo Jet (1972-1978), Matterhorn (1972), Giant Wheel (1972), Cedar Point Cinema (1975-2001), Corkscrew (1976), Troika (1976), Witches’ Wheel (1977-2018), Gemini (1978), Gemini Chilrden’s Area (1979-2013), Wave Swinger (1979), WildCat (1979-2011), Oceania (1980), Ocean Motion (1981), Kid Arthur’s Court (1982-2005), White Water Landing (1982-2005), and Demon Drop (1983-2009). All of theses rides gave Cedar Point a new experience to entertain its guests.

In 1985 Cedar Point opened Avalanche Run on the site that was once home to WildCat.
|
To make room for Avalanche Run, Cedar Point relocated WildCat to the Million Dollar Midway. It replaced Bayern Kurve and Schwabinchen.
WildCat would operate until the end of the 2011 season. It was removed in May 2012. |
In 2012 Cedar Point opened Celebration Plaza, where WildCat once was. The area was home to the Celebration Showplace Theatre.
From 2012-2024 the area where Bayern Kruve stood would be used for Bleachers and food trucks. From time to time the area was empty. If you looked closely at the ground you could see exactly where Baryern Kruve used to sit. |
