Camp Bus is a Zamperla crazy bus that is located in Camp Snoopy at Cedar Point. 

On Friday, November 13, 1998, Cedar Point announced it would open Camp Snoopy for the 1999 season. The new kids area would have 7 rides, a food stand, a new outdoor theater, and a new roller coaster.

​The area would be themed to the Peanuts franchise. 

Camp Bus opened on Sunday, May 9, 1999.

Camp Bus is located between Ballon Race and Red Baron. 

Camp Bus is a crazy bus ride that was built by Zamperla. Zamperla is known for making quality kids rides. 

Camp Bus is a great ride the entire family can ride together. 

Camp Bus is very similar to Snoopy Deep Sea Divers. It is located in Planet Snoopy. Snoopy's Deep Sea Divers opened in 2008. They are the same ride model, that features different themes.

Theming 

Camp Bus is a lightly-themed ride. It is themed as campers riding a bus that takes them to a summer camp. 

The ride features a bright yellow bus. 

Camp Bus is a really cool ride. It has a great location that overlooks the Cedar Point lagoon. 

Ride Expereince

The Camp Bus ride experience begins when guests get in line for the ride. 

The line for Camp Bus is located directly to the left of the ride. 

The line for Camp Bus usually isn't very long. The line does get up to 5 minutes. If the park is busy can be 10-15 minutes. 

Riders are loaded into one of 6 rows on the bus. Each row holds 4 riders. Riders are held into place with just a lap bar. At the end of each row is a locking door. 

Camp Bus starts by slowly lifting riders up in a clockwise circle. Riders are facing forward when they go up.  

Camp Bus lifts its riders up 23 feet where they are given a wonderful view of Camp Snoopy and the lagoons. 

The ride then lowers riders back down. when riders are going down they are facing backwards. 

As the ride goes around it picks up speed and goes a little faster until it reaches its max speed. 

Camp Bus is a really smooth ride.  It is very gentle for the entire family. 

Camp Bus has a lot of charm. It makes this little ride very special for its riders. 

Camp Bus is a 1 minute, and 25 second long ride. 

The ride slows down during its last time around. This helps make the parking of the bus smoother. 

Once the ride parks the ride operator helps riders out of the ride. Riders exit to the left of the ride back into Camp Snoopy. 

A Great Ride For Cedar Point!

Camp Bus was a really cool ride when it opened at Cedar Point in 1999.  It was one of the first rides for the entire family to go on together in nearly 20 years. 

Camp Bus is a great stepping-stone ride. It is more intense than the rides in Kiddy Kingdom, but it's not as intense as rides like Monster, and Lake Erie Eagles. 

Riders love Camp Bus. Over the years the ride has been very popular for families. 

Camp Bus has been thrilling guests for the last 25 years. It will continue to thrill riders for years to come. 

Cedar Point isn't the first or only park with a Camp Bus. The first one opened at Knott's Berry Farm in 1992. When Cedar Fair bought the park in 1997 they decided to bring Camp Snoopy to the other Cedar Fair parks.

Crazy Bus is a really fun ride for the entire family. Riders laugh and giggle as the enjoy this ride. 

Riders must be 36 inches tall to ride Camp Bus alone. Riders less than 36 inches tall can ride with a supervising companion. Hand-held infants are not allowed on this ride.
