Challenge park
​1992-2016

Challenge Park was added to Cedar Point for the 1992 season. Original attractions included Grand Prix Raceway and Challenge Golf. In 1999 Grand Prix Raceway was split into 3 different tracks  and was renamed as Challenge Racing. Challenge Racing was removed at the end of the 2015 season. Rip Cord was added in 1996. In 2001 Cedar Point added Vertigo. Vertigo was removed at the end of the 2001 season and was replaced with X-Treme Trampoline. In 2008, Cedar Point added Skyscraper to Challenge Park! Skyscraper was removed at the end of the 2015 season. RipCord was relocated into the park in 2017. Challenge Golf was removed in 2016. Challenge park was located between Cedar Point and Soak City and was known as Cedar Point's Extreme park! Park admission was not required for Challenge Park as all rides here were up charge attractions!

Challenge Golf

Challenge Golf was Cedar Point's miniature golf course. 

Challenge Racing
1992-2015

Challenge Racing was Cedar Point's extreme go kart track!

RipCord
1996-2016

RipCord was Cedar Point's Sky Coaster!

Skyscraper
2008-2015

Skyscraper was an extreme spinning ride locate in Challenge Park! Skyscraper riders would spin and flip 160 feet into the sky at 60 MPH!

Vertigo 
2001-2001

Vertigo opened in August 2001 in the Challenge Park section of the park. Vertigo was a sling shot connect ride that featured tilted seats. The ride was removed because one fo the towers collapsed during the winter. 

Xtreme Trampoline
2004-2007

Extreme Trampoline opened in 2004 in Challenge Park. This ride was a giant trampoline. It closed in 2007 to make room for Skyscraper.
