Dodgem 1

Dodgem 1 was Cedar Point's bumper car ride. 

Dodgem 1 was located on Cedar Point's Main Midway. The ride was placed by Cedar Point's Wild Mouse. 

In 1977 Dodgem was relocated to the end of the new Corkscrew Midway.  The ride was part of an expansion that saw the addition of Witches' Wheel.

Dodgem 1's new location was across from Witches' Wheel.

Dodgem 1 closed on Sunday, October 28, 2001. 

During the spring of 2001, Dodgem 1 was removed. The ride parrts were sent to Michingan's Adventure. Cedar Point then mobed the Dodgem 1 cars onto the Dodgem 2 cars. The cars from Dodgem 2 were moved to Michigan's Adventure. 

Cedar Point built the massive 420 tower for Top Thrill Dragster on the land that was once home to Dodgem 1. In 2024 the ride was redone to become Top Thrill 2.
