In 1977 Dodgem was relocated to the end of the new Corkscrew Midway. The ride was part of an expansion that saw the addition of Witches' Wheel.

Cedar Point built the massive 420 tower for Top Thrill Dragster on the land that was once home to Dodgem 1. In 2024 the ride was redone to become Top Thrill 2.
