Dune Buggies opened on Saturday, May 23, 1970. Cedar Point underwent renovations to its Kiddieland section in celebration of the park's 100th anniversary.

The entrance to Dune Buggies is on the side closest to Sky Fighters. The ride does not have an official queue area.

Riders don’t wait long for Dune Buggies. They are usually on the next cycle, and it is very rare to wait more than one ride cycle.

|
|
|
|
|
|
Riders are loaded into one of six cars, with each car holding four people. Seatbelts keep riders securely in place.

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Dune Buggies travels in a counterclockwise direction.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

Riders have a steering wheel and a horn, giving them the illusion of actually driving the cars!

Over the years, Cedar Point has become known for its big rides like Millennium Force, Magnum XL-200, maXair, Power Tower, and many more. While those rides are geared toward adults, Dune Buggies does an excellent job of providing thrills and fun experiences for kids.

Riders must be able to walk independently and be under 54 inches tall to ride Dune Buggies.
