Gemini's Children's Area
Cedar Point would experience rapid growth through the late 1970's. The park had gotten so big that there was a need for a second kids area to keep the kids entertained. In 1979 Cedar Point opened its new kids area on the Gemini Midway to go along with the newly opened Gemini Midway. The area was very small and had no shade. It would remain the same for the next 18 years.
