In October 2009, Cedar Point surprised its guests by renaming the long-running Centennial Theatre to Jack Aldrich Theatre. The Theatre originally opened in 1970.

Jack Aldrich Theatre was named after Jack Aldrich from Sandusky, Ohio. Jack Aldrich is the man that turn Cedar Point's entertainment department and live shows into what it is today. Jack worked at cedar Point from the 1960's until his retirement in 1994. Jack died in August 2009. In his Honor Cedar Point renamed the park's Centennial Theatre to the Jack Aldrich Theatre On October 23, 2009. |

Jack Aldrich Theatre is located on the Main Midway between French Quarter Confections and Front Gate Photo. It is across from the Sky Ride station.
