Kiddieland Carousel opened at Cedar Point in 1968. The Carousel was built in 1921 by W.H. Dentzel.

Locations of the Carousel

When the Carousel opened in 1968, it was on the outer edge of Kiddieland. At that time, it was placed in a temporary structure. The original location is the current location of Dodgem.
|
|
In 1970 Cedar Point expanded Kiddieland for its 100th anniversary. The Carousel was moved to the center of the kid's area as part of this renovation. The ride was also placed in a permanent building.
|
|
|
Kiddieland Carousel continued to entertain Cedar Point's guests for many decades.
|
|
|
In 1988 the United States Postal Service issued a series of stamps that featured carousel horses. One of the horses from Kiddy Kingdom Carousel was featured in the stamp set.

|
In 1993 Kiddieland was upgraded and rethemed to become Kiddy Kingdom. to fit the theme, Kiddieland Carousel was renamed Kiddy Kingdom Carousel.
