Mustangs is a spinning kids’ ride built by Hampton, located in Kiddy Kingdom at Cedar Point.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Mustangs opened on May 23, 1970. Cedar Point redesigned its Kiddieland section for the park’s 100th anniversary.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Mustangs is located between Police Cars and 4x4’s, in the upper-left corner of Kiddy Kingdom, directly in front of the Coliseum.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Mustangs was built by Hampton. Over the years, Hampton built many of Cedar Point’s early kids’ rides, including:

Ride Experience
|
|
|
|
|
The line for Mustangs is located on the side facing 4x4’s.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
There is usually little to no line for Mustangs, and riders are typically on the ride within the next cycle.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Riders are loaded into one of eight cars, with each car holding four riders. Seatbelts keep riders securely in place.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Mustangs moves in a counterclockwise direction.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Mustangs gives Cedar Point guests the opportunity to experience their first rides!
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Riders have a steering wheel, giving them the illusion of driving. There is even a horn that guests can beep during the ride.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Mustangs offers approximately a 2-minute ride experience.

Mustangs has been at Cedar Point for 56 years.

Guests have come to love Mustangs over the years, making it a classic favorite. The ride has been enjoyed by multiple generations of Cedar Point visitors!

Mustangs is a very gentle ride that kids absolutely love!

|
Over the years, Cedar Point has become known for its big rides like Millennium Force, Magnum XL-200, maXair, Power Tower, and many more. While those rides are geared toward adults, Mustangs does an excellent job of providing thrills and fun experiences for kids.

|
|
Riders must be able to walk independently and be under 54 inches tall to ride Mustangs.
|
|
|
|
|
