Peanuts 500
1999
Peanuts 500 is a Zamperla Speedway ride.
Peanuts 500 is located between Woodstock Express and Beagle Bay Outfitters, and it’s the first ride that guests see when entering that side of Camp Snoopy.
A very similar ride to Peanuts 500 can be found in Kiddy Kingdom, called Roto Whip. This ride has been at Cedar Point for decades and does not feature a specific theme.

Ride Experience
Once the ride comes to a complete stop, riders exit back onto the Camp Snoopy midway.

Becoming A Family Favorite
Peanuts 500 is an exciting ride—more thrilling than the attractions in Kiddy Kingdom, yet not as intense as rides like Calypso, Lake Erie Eagles, and Wave Swinger.

Knott’s Berry Farm opened the first Camp Snoopy in 1983. In 1992, the area was expanded to include Charlie Brown’s Speedway, which quickly became very popular. When Cedar Point opened Camp Snoopy in 1999, it was a natural choice to include the ride. Charlie Brown’s Speedway would later be featured in several other Camp and Planet Snoopy areas at Cedar Fair parks.
