Today Cedar Point is known for its Amusement Park. In the early days guest went to Cedar Point for the hotels. In 1898 Cedar Point opened its first hotel, the Bay Shore Hotel. Cedar Point's Resorts would continue to grow over the years. Today Cedar Point is home to 3 hotels, a campground, and the finest marina on the Great Lakes.

Castaway Bay

Located a few minutes from Cedar Point is Castaway Bay. Castaway Bay is open year round and features a massive indoor family water park. Castaway Bay opened in 2004.

Cedar Point's Express Hotel

Located on the Cedar Point causeway, Cedar Point's Express Hotel opened in 2000. This is Cedar Point's value hotel. The hotel was expanded and remodeled in 2017.

Hotel Breakers

Hotel Breakers is Cedar Point’s flagship resort. Built in 1905, Hotel Breakers is the park’s oldest hotel. The historic hotel is known for its classic architecture and its beautiful location along the shores of Lake Erie, giving it a great deal of charm.

Lighthouse Point

Lighthouse Point opened on May 6, 2001, as Cedar Point’s campground and RV resort. The resort is centered around the historic Cedar Point Lighthouse, the oldest building on the peninsula. Nestled between Lake Erie, Cedar Point amusement park, and Cedar Point Shores Waterpark, Lighthouse Point offers guests a scenic and relaxing place to stay while enjoying all that the peninsula has to offer.
