Disaster Transport

Closed: July 29, 2012 Manufacturer: ITEC Tech Location: Beach Midway Type: indoor bobsled In 1990 Avalanche Run was converted into Disaster Transport. Disaster Transport took riders on an adventure into space. It was Cedar Point's most themed roller coaster ever built. As the ride aged the theming broke and was not fixed. Disaster Transport was a cool ride, but it didn't always click with the people who rode it. It was often considered one of the worst rides ever built. It was removed in the 2012 season and was replaced with GateKeeper. |
