Rock, Spin & Turn is a kids ride that is located in Kiddy Kingdom at Cedar Point.

In 1970 Cedar Point expanded Kiddieland as part of their many projects to celebrate Cedar Point's 100th Anniversary. Rock, Spin & Turn was part of this expansion.

Rock, Spin & Turn opened on Saturday, May 23, 1970.

Rock, Spin & Turn was located in Kiddieland near the left side of the Coliseum.

Rock, Spin & Turn was a very well liked ride by the kids. It was unique and really cool.

In 1979 Rock, Spin & Turn and Space Age were moved to the new kids area on the Gemini Midway. The rides were meant to accompany the new Jr. Gemini roller coaster. Gemini Children's Area was a great addition to Cedar Point.

By moving Rock, Spin & Turn to the back of the park it gave kids in the back of the park another ride they could ride. Before the 1979 season, there were no kids rides in the back of the park.

Gemini Children's area was located across from the Gemini roller coaster.

Rock, Spin & Turn would entertain guests in Gemini Children's Area until the end of the 2013 season.

In 2014 Rock, Spin & Turn was relocated back to Kiddy Kingdom. The ride was placed about where it was when it opened in 1970.

Rock, Spin & Turn is located between the Kiddy Kingdom Carousel and Police Cars.

When Cedar Point moved Rock, Spin & Turn to Kiddy Kingdom it was proof of Cedar Point's comment to providing rides and experiences for every member of the entire family.

Rock, Spin & Turn was built by Hampton. Hampton was known for building quality kids rides.

Hampton has built many rides for Cedar Point. Hampton and Cedar Point worked together in 1970 to expand Kiddieland with what was then the most modern technology in kids rides.

Ride Experience

The entrance for Rock, Spin & Turn is on the side of the ride that is closest to 4x4's. The ride has no official queue space.

Riders don't wait very long to ride Rock, Spin & Turn. They are usually on the next cycle. It is very rare that they would wait more than one ride cycle.

Riders are loaded into one of six cars. Each car holds six people. Riders are held in place with a seatbelt.

Rock Spin & Turn moves in a clockwise motion. The ride spins while it goes around.

The center of each car has a spinning wheel. Riders are able to spin the wheel and make their car spin faster.

The ride features a wavy track that the cars go up and down on small hills.

Riders laugh and giggle as they ride Rock, Spin & Turn.

Kids love Rock, Spin & Turn. It is a really fun ride.

Rock, Spin & Turn is about a 2 minute ride. Due to the spinning, each ride has a unique experience.

Once the ride comes to a complete stop, ride operators come around and help riders out of the cars. Riders can then exit back to Kiddy Kingdom.

A Lasting Legacy

Riders love Rock, Spin & Turn. It is a very fun ride.

Rock, Spin & Turn has been thrilling Cedar Point's youngest riders for decades. Many different generations of kids have ridden this ride.

Rock, Spin & Turn is a very gentle ride. While the younger kids can ride it, it's best if they ride it with kids that are around 5. Some of the steering wheels can be a little harder to turn for some of the littler kids.

Over the years Cedar Point has become known for its big rides like Millennium Force, Magnum XL-200, maXair, Power Tower and so much more. Those rides are for adults. Rock, Spin & Turn does a really good job of providing thrills and fun ride experiences to kids.
