Roto Whip

In 1960, Kiddieland was relocated to the other side of the Coliseum, where Kiddy Kingdom is located today. Roto Whip was moved around this time.

In 1970, Kiddieland was expanded to become the largest kids’ area in the world. During the expansion, the rides that were already in the area were slightly relocated so the section would look brand new. Roto Whip was then moved next to Krazy Kars.

Roto Whip was relocated to its current location in 1986 to make room for Sir Rub-A-Dub’s Tubs.

Roto Whip is located in Kiddy Kingdom, to the right of the Kiddy Kingdom Carousel. The ride is across from Sky Fighters.

In 1999, Cedar Point opened Camp Snoopy. As part of the new area, Peanuts 500 was introduced—a larger whip-style ride.

The entrance to Roto Whip is located on the back side of the ride, across from Sky Fighters.

Becoming a Classic
|
Over the years, Cedar Point has become known for its major thrill rides like Millennium Force, Magnum XL-200, maXair, Power Tower, and many more. Those attractions are geared toward adults, while Roto Whip provides a fun, gentle thrill experience designed for kids.
