All of these attractions gave the park something new for its guests to experience.

In 1985, Cedar Point opened Avalanche Run, which led to the WildCat being relocated to the former location of Bayern Kurve and Schwabinchen. Schwabinchen was then moved to the former site of the Rotor, where it remained until it closed in 2002.

In 2003, Cedar Point opened Top Thrill Dragster. Construction of the ride led to Chaos being relocated to the former site of Schwabinchen, where it remained in operation until the end of the 2010 season.

In 2011, Chaos was replaced by the 3-Point Challenge. The 3-Point Challenge remains in the location that once housed the Rotor to this day.
