Frog Hopper
​1998-2013

Frog Hopper was an S&S Frog Hopper that was in Cedar Point's Gemini's Children's Area. 

Frog Hopper opened on Saturday, May 8, 1998. Frog Hopper was the first kids ride that was added to Cedar Point since Bumper Boats opened in 1993. 

Frog Hopper was located in Gemini Children's Area. The ride was placed in front of the Gemini roller coaster. It was located to the left of Bumper Boats. 

Frog Hopper was a very exciting ride for kids. It was the tallest kids ride in the park when it opened. It quickly became a favorite. 

Frog Hopper was a very popular ride for Cedar Point. By the early 2010's it was clear that the ride was starting to show its age. It would need a refresh for the future. 

On August 27, 2023, Cedar Point announced it was redoing the Gemini Midway for the 2013 season. This would include relocating Frog Hopper. The ride was going to move to Camp Snoopy where it was renamed, and rethemed to become Woodstock's Airmail. 

Frog Hopper closed on Sunday, October 27, 2013. Frog Hopper had entertained Cedar Point guests for 15 years. The ride was about to get the refresh it needed. 

Woodstock's Airmail
2014

Woodstock's Airmail is a themed Frog Hopper that is located in Camp Snoopy at Cedar Point. 

When Frog Hopper was relocated the ride was completely reimaged. It had an entirely new look and feel to it. It fit in really well with Camp Snoopy. 

Woodstock's Airmail opened on Saturday, May 10, 2014.

Woodsrock's Airmail is located in Camp Snoopy. The ride is between Linus' Beetle Bugs and Charlie Brown's Wind-Up.

Woodstock's Airmail is a Frog Hopper that was built by S&S. S&S is known for building quality thrill rides. 

Woodstock's Airmail is one of 2 rides in Camp Snoopy that is only for little kids. The other ride is Red Barron. 

In 2008 Planet Snoopy opened at Cedar Point. One of those rides was the Kite Eating Tree. Kite Eating Tree is another version of Woodstock's Airmail that was built by a different manufacturer.

Woodstock's Airmail is a very exciting ride.  It is more exciting than the rides in Kiddy Kingdom, but it isn't as intense as rides like Monster, Lake Erie Eagles, Wave Swinger, and Monster. 

Woodstock's Airmail is a great ride for kids! 

Theming

Woodstock's Airmail has a really cool theme to it. It makes the ride look really nice. 

Woodstock's Airmail is themed to Woodstock trying to deliver a letter to Snoopy. 

The ride doesn't have theming like you would find at a Disney or Universal Studios park, but for what it does have, it is a very nice ride. 

Woodstock's Airmail is a great ride. Kids love it, and its theme helps make the ride relevant to its riders. 

Ride Expereinece 

The ride experience for Woodstock's Airmail begins with riders getting in line. The line for Woodstock's Airmail is located directory to the right of the ride. 

Riders sometimes have to wait a cycle or two to ride the ride. Woodstock's Airmail is the lowest capacity ride in Camp Snoopy. 

6 riders are loaded into the car at a time. The car has individual seatbelts and all riders share the same lap bar. 

The ride beings by slowly lifting riders to the top of the tower. 

Once the car reaches the top it pulses for a few seconds. It gives riders a great view of Camp Snoopy. 

Riders are then slowly bounced down the tower. The small drops causes the kids to laugh and giggle. The drops on this ride are very gentle. 

Just before the car reaches the bottom the riders are slowly lifted back to the top again. 

Riders are slowly bounced back up and down the tower. 

Rides are lifted back up to the top of the tower for the final time. 

Riders are slowly bounced down the tower until they reach the loading platform. 

Once the ride reaches the bottom they are unloaded so they can exit the ride. 

Riders Favorites

Kids love riding Woodstock's Airmail.  It is the perfect thrill ride for kids. 

Retheming Frog Hopper into Woodstock's Airmail was a great thing for Cedar Point guests. It is a great way for riders to enjoy the ride for generations to come. 

Kids have been enjoying Woodstock's Airmail for over 25 years. 

Several other parks have similar rides to Woodstock's Airmail. It has been very popular in every park that it is at.

Riders must be between 36 inches and 54 inches tall to ride Woodstock's Airmail.
