Blood on the Bayou
2011-2019

Blood on the Bayou was a scare zone that opened for the 2011 season. 

Blood on the Bayou was located on an island. under Iron Dragon and between Rougarou and Top Thrill Dragster. 

The theming on Blood on the Bayou is really cool. There is something different around every corner. Blood on the Bayou would come to life with lights and sounds.

Blood on the Bayou takes about 15 minutes to go thru. There is a lot to experience on this winding path!

Blood on the Bayou was a really cool experience. It was one of the parks mostly themed attractions for Halloweekends when it opened. 

Blood on the Bayou would close with Cedar Point at the end of the 2019 season. 

In early 2020 the world would enter into the COVID-19 pandemic. Cedar Point would not reopen until July 2020. It was later determined it wasn't a good idea to have a typical Hallowekeneds because social distancing would be difficult in houses in zones. As a result, Halloweekends was canceled for 2020.

Halloweekends would return for the 2021 season. Blood on the Bayou would not return as the attraction was in 2019. For 2021 Blood on the Bayou was upgraded and relocated to Adventure Island.
