The Cedar Point Cinema was very popular when it opened at Cedar Point. Over the years the theater entertained millions of guests. By the late 1990's it wasn't as popular as it once was and the theater had run its course.
In order to keep the attraction Cedar Point would need to upgrade the technology to run the show. In the end they decided it was best to just move on and do something else. The Cedar Point Cinema closed in 2001. |
