In 1990. Soak City was expanded to include Main Stream.
Main Stream was a lazy river that guest would float around on. It was very popular and lasted many years.
In 2017, Soak City was renamed and re-themed as Cedar Point Shores Water park.
As part of the re-branding of the water park, Main Stream was renamed Cedar Creek.
Cedar Creek is a fun and relaxing lazy river ride that riders float inside a river that winds thru Cedar Point Shores Water Park.
Cedar Creek is a family ride. Riders have the choose of either swimming inside the river or using an inter-tube to float thru the river.
Cedar Creek was built and designed by White Water West. White Water West has built all of the water slides and attractions at Cedar Point Shores as well as most of Cedar Fair's other water park attractions.
Cedar Creek is a very popular addition to Cedar Point Shores Water Park. Riders must be 42 inches tall to ride Cedar Creek.
