Site History
CP America's Roller Coast was started in 2008 by Jake Hamons. Jake originally started the website as a school project. Jake would continue to work on his website over the years. From 2008-2011 CP America's Roller Coast was known as ''Jake's Cedar Point Site.". For the first few years the site was very short and didn't really have much.
In August 2011, Dillon Thomas had joined Jake and they moved the website to a different platform. CP America's Roller Coast made its first public appearance on October 22, 2011. Since then it has only grown and become a better site. In 2013, Brandon Johnson joined the team as an editor for the site. Brandon would work closely with Jake over the year until he reached his current role as President.
In 2014 CP America's Roller Coast began its relationship with COASTER-net. The two websites work together to deliver the best experience possible.
Over the years CP America's Roller Coast has gotten even better. In 2017, CP America's Roller Coast had 200,631 site visitors. Each and every year the website improves and gets better!
