For the 2017 season, Soak City was expanded. As a result of the expansion, the park was renamed, and re-themed Cedar Point Shores Water Park! The Park features new rides for the entire family. Cedar Point Shores Water Park is a great addition to the world class resort Cedar Point has become!

Renamed: 2017 as Crosscurrent Reopened: June 6, 2026 Manufacturer: WhiteWater West Location: Between Sand Lot and Waterin' Hole Type: Tube Slides Crosscurrent is a set of tube slides located in the older section of the water park. Originally opened as Raft Slides in 1988, the attraction was renamed Crosscurrent in 2017. In 2025, the slides underwent a complete reconstruction featuring the latest slide technology and enhancements. Crosscurrent officially reopened to guests on June 6, 2026. |
