Perch Plunge
1988

Body Slides opened in Soak City Water Park in 1988. Body Slides was an original ride at the park. 

Body Slides gave the park a popular thrill ride that guest loved. When the ride opened in 1988 the slides were all white. In 2012 they were painted to their current colors.

In 2017, Soak City was renamed, re-themed as expanded to become Cedar Point Shores Water Park. As a result, body slides were re-imagined to become Perch Plunge. 

Perch Plunge was built by White Water West. White Water West is a water slide manufacturing company from Canada.

Perch plunge is Cedar Point Shores Water Park's version of Body Slides. They feature many twist and turns and small drops.

Guest love Perch Plunge! Riders must be 48 inches tall to ride!
