New For: 2023

Whats new for Cedar Point next year? Here is the complete list of what has been teased by Cedar Point! 

Rides and Attractions:

- The former Wicked Twister Midway is being transformed to the new Boardwalk. The area is being updated and refreshed for families to enjoy together. 
- Wild Mouse will open on the Board Walk as Cedar Point's 18th roller coaster! 
- Scrambler is being relocated from the Main Midway to the new Boardwalk Midway. The ride is being renovated and will be rethemed to become Atomic Scrambler. 
​-Matterhorn is being relocated from the Main Midway to the Boardwalk. 
​-Tiki Twirl is being renamed to Calypso. The ride is also being rethemed to fit the Calypso theme. 
​-Troika receives a new paint scheme to better fit in with the boardwalk. 
-Top Thrill Dragster will be closed for the 2023 season. 

Live Entertainment:

-Come see about me will be shown at The Jack Aldrich Theatre. 
-On Tap: Home Brew will be a new show at Red Garter Saloon. 
​-Snoopy's Dog Days of Summer will be a new show at Camp Snoopy Theatre. 
-Summerbration! will be a new nighttime show!
-Lusty Lil's Palace Theatre will not hold a show during the summer of 2023.

Food and Beverage:

- Cedar Point Grand Pavilion makes its grand debut on the new boardwalk. The new building will house a new restaurant and a bar that will over look the lake. 
​-Bar 1870 replaces Senior Vargas Walking Tacos. 
-Boardwalk Cotton Candy opens. 
-Frontier Inn replaces Chick-Fil-A.
​-Engine Company Number 3 Spirits opens replacing Engine Company Number 3 Company. 

Merchandise and Games:

-Funway Arcade opens replacing Johnny Rockets.
​-Frontier Craft Co. opens replacing The Candle Shop. 
​-Coliseum gets a new LED sign on the Main Midway side of the midway. 

Cedar Point Shores Water Park:

-The Boardwalk receives really cool theming to refresh the area. It also received new entry signs.
