Noah's Ark
1925-1959

Noah's Ark was a fun house that was located on Cedar Point's amusement circle. Noah's Ark was a fun house that featured a rocking ark. Guests would walk thru the ark and experience wooden figures and other cool tricks to entertain guests. 

Noah's Ark was operated by the Concourse Amusement Company. There were several of theses attractions at other parks including: Blackpool Pleasure Beach (1922-2008), Kennywood Park (1936), Venice Pier (1919-1940), Frontierland (1920's-2000), Steeplechase Park (1923-1929), and Old Orchard Pier (1929-1969).

Noah's Ark closed at the end of the 1959 season. The ride was removed to make way for expansion of the park's Main Midway.

​By the 1950's Noah's Ark was really dated. Cedar Point was trying to modernize the park at the time, and Noah's Ark just didn't fit in with what the park was trying to do. 

All of the Noah's Ark rides have since been removed from all parks, except for one. Noah's Ark at Kennywood Park is the last remaining ride of its kind. The ride has been modernized several times over the years.
