Point Plummet
2017

In 2017 Point Plummet opened as part of the newly re-branded Cedar Point Shores Water Park.

Point Plummet is a  six story body slide! Point Plummet was built and designed by White Water West.

White Water West is the same company that built all of Cedar Point Shoes's water slides as well as most of the water slides found at other Cedar Fair parks.

To ride Point Plummet, riders enter the line and start their journey by climbing 60 feet to the top! As you clime you get a great view of Cedar Point and Cedar Point Shores!

Once at the top, riders are put into a a slide that has a closing door.

When riders least expect it, they are dropped into a near free fall. The drop is really cool and gives you the sensation of what its like to free fall.

After dropping, riders on Point Plummet are sent thru a series of flat turns. Riders fly thru the slide.

The water on Point Plummet is very warm, as the water is heated.

Point Plummet is a twisted web of 4 drop slides. Riders can choose their experience in the form of what green, purple, blue and yellow. All 4 slides do the same thing.

Point Plummet gives riders an amazing rush of seed.

Point Plummet ends with riders landing in a run out lane.

The Point Plummet can also be experienced at Knott's Berry Farm, Kings Island, Kings Dominion, Valley Fair, Canada's Wonderland and Dorney Park as well as Kalahari and many Six Flags Water parks.

Point Plummet was a great addition to Cedar Point Shores Water Park! It gave the park another modern slide the park had been missing. Riders must be 48 inches tall to ride Point Plummet.
