Sky Slide was a giant slide that was located at Cedar Point. Riders would slide down the slides on small sacks. The ride had 15 lanes for riders to experience. It was a great family ride.

Sky Slide was located between the Main Midway and the Beach Midway right outside of First Aid.

After adding Sky Slide in 1968 Cedar Point would expand to include: Cedar Creek Mine Ride (1969), Antique Cars (1969-2021), Million Dollar Midway (1970-1986), Frontier Trail (1971), Giant Wheel (1972), Jumbo Jet (1972-1978), Matterhorn (1972), Cedar Point Cinema (1975-2001), Corkscrew (1976), Troika (1976), Witches' Wheel (1977-2018), Gemini (1978), WildCat (1979-2011), Wave Swinger (1979), Gemini Children's Area (1979-2013), Oceania (1980-1997), Ocean Motion (1981), White Water Landing (1982-2005), Kid Arthur's Court (1982-1999), Demon Drop (1983-2009), Avalanche Run (1985-1989), Thunder Canyon (1986), Iron Dragon (1987), Soak City Waterpark (1988-2016), Magnum Xl-200 (1989), Disaster Transport (1990-2012), and Mean Streak (1991-2016). All of theses new actions gave the park something it did not have before.

After 23 years of operation Sky Slide was retired at the end of the 1991 season.

In 1992 Berenstain Bear Country opened on the former site of the Sky Slide. The area was in interactive playground. It closed in 1998. In 1998 the area was rethemed as Peanuts Playground. It closed at the end of the 2007 season.
