Broadway Trip
1964-1964
Over the years Cedar Point has spent 100's of millions of dollars on roller coaster innovation. They have opened the first 200, 300, and 400-foot tall roller coasters in the world. Many coasters have come and gone since he first roller coaster opened at Cedar Point in 1892. People know what Jumbo Jet, Wild Mouse, Disaster Transport, Wild Mouse, and Wicked Twister were, but most people don't remember Broadway Trip.
Broadway Trip was a combination of a dark ride and a roller coaster that was built by Mack Rides. The ride was a concession so it was only at Cedar Point for one year. |
Broadway Trip was sent back to Mack Rides and was refurbished in 1968. It would then be known as Love Bugs until it became Willard's Cavern in 1986. It was scrapped in 2003.
