Snoopy's Space Race
2008

Snoopy's Space Race is a mini jet ride at Cedar Point. 

In 2000 Marvin the Martian Rocket Ship Ride opened at Six Flags Ohio. In 2004 the park was sold to Cedar Fair L.P. and renamed Geauga Lake. 

The area was rethemed to Kidworks because the park was no longer a Six Flags Park. Martin Rocket Ship Ride was given a generic theme and renamed Rocket Relay. Geauga Lake closed at the end of the 2007 season. ​

In January 2008 Cedar Point announced Planet Snoopy for the 2008 season. The area would include 7 rides, meet and greet opportunities, and games. The 7 rides were: a Mini-Tea Cup-Style ride (Woodstock's Whirlybirds), Miniature Train (Snoopy's Express Railroad), 4 x 4 Trucks (Peanuts Road Rally), A Bouncing Tower (Kite Eating Tree), Spinning Balloons (Flying Ace Balloon Race), Rocket Ships (Snoopy's Space Race), and A Crazy Sub Ride (Snoopy's Deep Sea Divers).

Snoopy's Space Race opened at Cedar Point in 2008. It was part of the new Planet Snoopy!

Snoopy's Space Race is  a kids ride. It is one of two rides in Planet Snoopy that is only for kids. 

Snoopy's Space Race was manufactured by Zamporla! Zamporla has become known for making great family rides! Snoopy's Space Race is a themed mini jet ride.

Snoopy's Space Race is a great ride for kids. They just love this ride. 

Theming 

Snoopy's Space Race is a mini jet that is themed as a jet flying in space. 

The ride has a back drop that features Snoopy and it says "The first Beagle on the Moon!".

The ride features vehicles that are themed as small space jets. 

Ride Experience

The ride experience for Snoopy's Space Race begins with kids getting in line for the ride. The line is located directly to the right of the ride. 

The wait time for Snoopy's Space Race is usually really short. Kids normally get on the next cycle. 

The ride line features comics to read while you wait in line. 

Riders are loaded into 8 rockers. Each rocket holds up to 2 kids. 

The ride begins by spinning around in a clockwise circle. 

As the ride spins around kids can lift their rockets up into the air. They can also choose how high in the air they go. 

Snoopy's Space Race gives kids a great view of Planet Snoopy. 

The ride cycle on this ride last for about 3 minutes. 

When the ride comes to a complete stop the riders are unloaded from the rockets.

A New Favorite For Kids

Snoopy's Space Race is a great ride for kids to ride. 

Snoopy's Space Race is a stepping stone ride. It is between the smaller rides of Kiddy Kingdom and some of the bigger rides in Planet Snoopy. 

Riders must be between 36 inches and 54 inches tall to ride Snoopy's Space Race.
