Jitney Arcade
1969-2019

Jitney Arcade opened at Cedar Point in the Frontier Section of the park in 1969!

Jitney Arcade was a nice fun place to relax when its hot outside! The arcade had air conditioning to cool you down on a hot day. 

Jitney Arcade had a bunch of classic arcade games for its guest to play!

In 2012 the Jitney Arcade was reduced in size to make room for the new Frontier First Aid. It was further reduced in size in 2018 to make room for an expansion to Frontier First Aid. 

Jitney Arcade was a really fun arcade for guest to have something to do in the back of the park other than riding roller coasters. Jitney Arcade closed at the end of the 2019 season and was closed in 2020 for Covid concerns. It never reopened. 

Jitney Arcade entertained Cedar Point guest for 50 years. When it closed it was 1 of 2 arcades in the park. Today the only arcade at Cedar Point is the Main Arcade. 

In 2022 Jitney Arcade was replaced with Build-A-Bear Workshop.
