Paul's Wood Shop

Paul's Wood Shop was located on the Frontier Trail at Cedar Point.

Paul's Wood Shop was located on the left side of the Frontier Trail in the Log Cabin Settlement area. 

Paul's Wood Shop's roots can be traced back to 1971. When Cedar Point opened the Frontier Trail. There was a wood carver on the porch of what is today the Trail Tavern. The wood carver would work on the front porch of the store. In the mid 1990's Cedar Point got its current wood carver, Paul.

In 2012 the wood carver was moved further down the trail to his own store. The store was named Paul's Wood Shop after Paul.

Paul's Wood Shop was a very reasonably priced store. It had stuff that is made by Paul and stuff that is unique to the store, like wooden puzzles.

Paul's Wood Shop was a great place get get some really cool hand made merchandise. Paul's Wood Shop was closed at the end of the 2022 season. 

Paul's Wood Shop did not reopen for the 2023 season. It has also not been replaced. 

Paul the wood carver has been moved to the new Frontier Craft Co that is located in the old Rose's Candle Shop.
