Cedar Point is a great place with a lot of different things. Each year the park grows and evolves with new attractions featuring new innovation. 2019 will bring the new Forbidden Frontier attraction as well as some updated dinning options. 2019 also brings quite a few milestone anniversaries for rides that are both still at the park and removed. 5th Anniversary (2014)
10th Anniversary (2009) 15th Anniversary (2004) 20th Anniversary (1999) 25th Anniversary (1994) 30th Anniversary (1989) 40th Anniversary (1979) 50th Anniversary (1969) 55th Anniversary (1964) 60th Anniversary (1959) 8oth Anniversary (1939) 85th Anniversary (1934) 90th Anniversary (1929) 95th Anniversary (1924) in 1924 Cedar Point added the Caterpillar, a ride that spun around and had a green canvas cover riders. The first Kiddieland was also added. 100th Anniversary (1919) Eden Musee was added. The attraction was located at present day Jack Aldrich Theater. 120th Anniversary (1899) In 1899 Cedar Point opened its first hotel, the Bay Shore Hotel. Over the years it would be expanded to become the Cedars Hotel by 1915. Cedars was tore down in January 2019, 120 years after it was first built. 130th Anniversary (1889) The laddies Pavilion is built on the beach. This is where the woman would hang out.
