Media day 2014!

    We arrived at Cedar Point for Media Day 2014 at 3:00 P.M!

After arriving to the Soak City parking lot and the Magnum entrance we waited outside the gate. We entered the park around 4:30.
Once entering the park Cedar Point had their new Crab Fries at Chickie's and Pete's, Coca-Cola Refresh and Yogurt Plus. Pipe Scream and Lake Erie Eagles were also open until 5:45

    Pipe Scream is Cedar Points 17th roller coaster! You rock, twist and turn thru it's hills at a thrilling and fun speed.

    Pipe Scream had a 15-20 minute wait!

Lake Erie Eagles is a small right that simulates the feeling of flight!

Cedar Point's Monster that opened in 1970 received a new paint job and new lights.

Monster also received a new fence, logo and sign.


Strolling into Camp Snoopy, the area received some changes as well. Lolli Swing has turned into Charlie Browns Wind Up and Frog Hooper arrived as Woodstock's Airmail.

Woodstock's Airmail looks very nice with its new paint job and new theme.

Woodstock's airmail is located in Camp Snoopy between  Charlie Brown's Wind Up and Tilt-a-Whirl

Lolli Swing has been re themed as Charlie Brown's Wind Up. The ride looks really nice.

Jr. Gemini will begin its life as Wilderness Run soon. The ride really looks nice, its not new paint and a nice new entrance plaza.

It doesn't look like much, but when its completed this will be the new tallest ride in the park! Slingshot has began vertical construction!

 Latter in the day Cedar Point had meals available at Starbucks, Chickie's and Pete's. Pinks, Lakeside Express, Coasters Drive-In and Midway Market!

    later in the day, Cedar Point opened Millennium Force and Blue Streak. We got some rides in and we really appreciated that very much!

So..... What did we think? This Midway looks really nice, it was give a refreshed look and it was a lot of fun. We had a blast and cant wait to ride the new Gemini Midway rides this summer!!!!
